G’day Friends. I recently visited Sydney over a weekend and took some photos of the touristy spots! Hope you guys likey!
This view of both the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge can be found from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. It is about a 20 – 30 minute journey from the Sydney CBD via bus (and a bit of a walk to the viewing point) and there are multiple buses that you will be able to take to get there. Unfortunately, it was a super cloudy day but it was still extremely beautiful!
These photos were taken at the area known as ‘The Rocks’, where there are a lot of restaurants and bars. Fair warning though, if you are traveling to Sydney, read up on their lockout laws as this has greatly impacted on the nightlife scene.
These photos of Cockle Bay Wharf and Darling Harbour were taken on a walk across Pyrmont Bridge.
Another Sydney attraction is the Sydney Fish Market, in Pyrmont, where they sell fresh fish and seafood everyday (except Christmas Day). They also have stores that cook the seafood so you’ll be able to get a meal and snacks here as well. It’s open from 7am and the retailers generally close at around 4pm. One of the highlights here are the scallops, so make sure you grab some if you go!
Here are some pictures that I took at the Fish Market:
