Best Maybelline Products – 2019
This list is organized in no particular order.
Instant Age Rewind Concealer
The Instant Age Rewind Concealer is considered a holy grail product for many people and I can totally see why!
It’s a great concealer that provides lots of coverage without making your skin feel or appear cakey and it’s amazing for covering up dark circles under your eyes.
I just wish it came in more shades!
If you’ve been reading this blog for some time now, you’ve probably thought to yourself, “this product is rarely mentioned!” And that’s because it doesn’t come in a shade light enough for me!
I absolutely love the formula of the Instant Age Rewind Concealer, but even the lightest shade doesn’t have a brightening effect when I use it under my eyes.
Hey Maybelline, release more shades, please!

Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder
If I had to choose only one Maybelline product to use for the rest of my life, it would be the Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder.
When I first discovered this powder, I was searching for a dupe for the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder to bake and set my entire face with.
If you bake under your eyes/contour and set your entire face with loose powder, you can definitely go through one jar of powder quickly! So, I needed a more cost-effective option than the Laura Mercier powder.
And once I started using the Fit Me Loose powder, I never went back. It’s become a staple in my makeup routine from day 1.
It’s such a light, finely-milled powder that does a great job of setting makeup in place without making your skin look dry or cakey.
I go through about one of these powders every month, so the low price is definitely a life-saver!

Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation
The Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation is another Maybelline product that is considered a holy grail for many.
It’s probably one of the most popular drugstore foundations out there!
This foundation is definitely made for people with oily skin as it is an oil-free formula and has oil-absorbing properties such as Maybelline’s special blurring micro-powders.
As a person with dry skin, it wasn’t the best for me, but I can totally see it being great for those with oily skin.

Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation
The Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation is my personal favorite Maybelline foundation.
Although it is also an oil-free formula, I found it to be less matte and drying when compared to the Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation.
It’s also super full-coverage! And I’m a full-coverage girl.
But despite it being so full coverage, it’s a very lightweight formula that applies and blends out effortlessly, without leaving a cakey finish.
This foundation was just released last year, but it was so well received that it made its way onto the Allure Best of Beauty 2018 list!

Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder Foundation
Yes, I totally hit pan on this one!
The Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder Foundation is a great option for setting powder if you wear light foundation that doesn’t need a whole lot of setting and you don’t require a loose powder to set your makeup with.
It’s also a great option to use as a light coverage foundation if you don’t want to use a cream/liquid foundation, but still want to touch up your complexion a bit.
I will often use just this powder as foundation if I’m running a quick errand and just can’t be bothered putting on a full face of makeup!
It’s also super handy to keep in your purse for on-the-go makeup touch-ups!
Master Chrome Highlighter
To describe the Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in one word: AMAZING.
I have three shades in my collection and I cannot choose only one as my favorite, they are just all so gorgeous!
Of all the highlighters I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried a lot), the formula of the Master Chrome highlighter is one of the best, and that’s including high-end highlighters!
It’s just so soft and creamy that applies like butter, leaving a super metallic finish. It’s blinding!
I would not recommend it if you like subtle highlighters, but if you want a crazy glow, this highlighter is totally for you.
Molten Gold is the original shade that was first released, and it’s still the one that I find myself reaching for the most. It’s actually probably too dark for my skin tone, but it makes me look like a golden goddess and I LIVE FOR IT.

Super Stay Full Coverage Powder Foundation
Similar to the Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder Foundation, the Super Stay Full Coverage Powder Foundation is a great powder foundation to lightly set your makeup with or to use alone as a light foundation.
Although it says full coverage in the name of the foundation, a powder foundation will never really give you the same kind of coverage that a cream/liquid foundation will.
That’s just the nature of the product. Unless, you really cake it on with a foam applicator pad to give you a concentrated application. BUT, that technique will usually give you a super cakey finish.
I like to use this powder foundation in the same way I described using the Fit Me Powder Foundation – as a light foundation to add a bit of coverage when I don’t have time to put on a full face of makeup and as a touch-up powder to keep in my purse.
The Super Stay Powder Foundation was released fairly recently, so I kind of see it as a “new and improved” Fit Me Powder Foundation because it does provide more coverage and seems to last longer throughout the day.

The City Bronzer is the newest bronzer from Maybelline and also my favorite!
I own the shade Medium and it’s the perfect natural everyday bronzer, regardless of the season we’re in.
The tone of the bronzer is more on the neutral side, which is great if bronzers tend to look too warm on you and/or if you just don’t like appearing as if you have a fake tan.
It’s also marketed as a contour powder, which I don’t use it as – the tone is still slightly too warm for me to use as a contour powder.
BUT, if contour powders tend to look to gray and ashy on you, this would be perfect for you.

Super Stay Better Skin Concealer
My favorite drugstore concealer!
Of all the drugstore concealers I’ve tried, the Super Stay Better Skin Concealer is the one that I keep coming back to!
I use this concealer every single day as a spot concealer and I haven’t found anything that I like more than this one.
The formula of this concealer is so creamy and it’s the perfect medium between too thick and too watery that makes it super easy to blend out without compromising coverage.
Unfortunately, just like the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, the shade range is less than stellar. Even the lightest shade in the Better Skin Concealer does not have a brightening effect on me.
And that’s why I use it as a spot concealer – the shade Ivory matches my complexion perfection, but it’s too dark for me to use under my eyes.
Recently, I’ve noticed it’s been harder to find this concealer for sale. It’s still available on Amazon, but I noticed Ulta is no longer carrying it.
Does that mean it’s being discontinued?! I sure hope not!
However, with the new release of the Super Say Full Coverage Concealer (which I am still testing out), it seems like that might be the case!

Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick
And now the stick version of the Super Stay Foundation! I just really like everything from Maybelline’s Super Stay line of products!
This foundation is pretty much the same as the liquid Super Stay Foundation, just in the form of a stick!
I really love stick foundations because of the ease of application and it’s so simple to layer on coverage concentrated in certain areas.
The Super Stay Stick Foundation provides slightly less coverage than the liquid version as I’d say it’s more of a medium-coverage foundation and the liquid version is definitely full-coverage.
But, like I said earlier, it’s super easy to layer on coverage in certain areas.
